Soyo "The Village of Hell"

I am currently in Angola in a small village called Soyo... well the original plan for me is to stand by here for few days before I get back to my rig, but I ended up spending two weeks over here. Getting paid to play & fool around (I love this job)...

The Office
Staff house

Well it is kinda boring over here. Started a routine that I hate. but it changes in the weekends. Every day I wake up do some simple exercise then go to the office walking... takes about 25min, Helps me keep in shape since I carry a bag around 10kg on my back...

Then spend the whole day doing nothing, surfing the net, I leave the office about 9pm at night I walk back to the staff house again. Once I am there I go to sleep...

well other than the small pranks that I pull when I am at the office to my friends. There is nothing interesting to it...

BUT THEN,, comes the week end...

Before we leave the office on Friday night, I shout "Its Party time!!!"

well on that day nothings happens, I just walk back and sleep, but when I wake up for the next two days, I go to the beach and spend my whole day there swimming in the three meter waves...

This is one hell of a big tree... I hugged it, and thus ppl now call me tree hugger

On Sunday after the beach we go to a staff house near the airport, and we have some BBQ... We stay up till midnight chatting and playing cards, with some rock music on the background...

Yea that is simply what I have been doing the past two weeks over here... Nothing that is the damn word...

I am going to die from boredom, I don’t know do people die from this??? I am Going Crazy...

Yea you read right,,, I am back to the land of blogging...

I have been traveling alot these days, but currently I am in Angola. I have met alot of interesting people of here and some I am damn proud to say they have become good friends with me. I also get some new trainee's who are fun to tease and make their life hell... The work here is also interesting, did see lots of stuff and things that I never thought I would see in my life work & life wise.

I have been diving & driving like crazy every time I get back to Oman... I have been doing lots of hicking around Oman,,,

There is a plan to go to dive at the red sea at Aqaba - Jordan then spend a day trip to Petra and Wadi Rum... This might be at the beginning of the next year...

Every thing is going to be blogged and documented here with my thoughts & pranks...

So keeep reading... This is just a small update about what I have been doing around, more details are on the way, on the next few days...

Oh yea,,, I still dont give a damn what do you people think about me...

WORK WORK WORK!!!! & DAMN WORK AGAIN

I know I havent been around lately but what can I do, I just got transfered to Angola to work here and since I got here I have been working like hell,,,

even in my dreams I get to work!!!

Yea have been traveling around lately, been in Malaysia, South Africa, Congo & Angola (yea since I work there now). seems like traveling will be the main thing I am going to do this year.

I want my play boy life back,,,,

UNESCO removed a natural park in Oman from its list of world heritage sites

Unesco strips Oman site of heritage status Paris - Unesco on Thursday removed a natural park in Oman from its list of world heritage sites - the first time it has taken such a step since the list was created 35 years ago.
The decision to delete the Arabian Oryx Sanctuary from the list was taken after the Omani government reduced the size of the protected area by 90 percent, Unesco said in a statement from its Paris headquarters.
The UN cultural organization’s World Heritage Committee is meeting in New Zealand to consider new applicants to the prestigious list, as well as problem sites that risk losing their world heritage status.
"In 1996 the population of the Arabian Oryx in the site was 450 but it has since dwindled to 65 with only about four breeding pairs, making its future viability uncertain. This decline is due to poaching and habitat degradation," Unesco said." The Committee felt that the unilateral reduction in the size of the sanctuary and plans to proceed with hydrocarbon prosecution would destroy the value and integrity of the property, which is also home to other endangered species including, the Arabian gazelle and houbara bustard," it said.
The committee earlier this week placed Ecuador's Galapagos islands on an "endangered sites" list because of the threat from tourism and non-native species.

After reading this article. It made me wonder: -

- When did Oman reduce the "Arabian Oryx Sanctuary"??

I known for a long time now that Oman has one of the largest Arabian Oryx Sanctuary in the gulf, when did this change? us as Omani’s we have great pride in our heritage and the Arabian Oryx is one of the main things that we put our pride for it. How did he dare (The person who signed the reduction of the "Arabian Oryx Sanctuary" and turned it into an oil field production area. I am disappointed in such act.

- How come it wasn’t announced in the Omani local media??

As we all know the local media is decrease to so called media. They cover and hide every thing from the local population.

- Would his majesty do such a thing or as always things were done behind the sense!!!

Well I have nothing to say about this, every thing in Oman is done from behind of his majesty, every thing that people in power in Oman do is look for ways to improve their bank accounts number's and care less for other useless material to them. I would like to ask you people who do such acts, do you care about your country & heritage or you just care about the endless amount of cash that you would like to snap from the system.

Every time I hear such things I loss hope for our heritage to last for the next generation...

About the size of a microwave, the fabber costs $2,300 to assemble—roughly one tenth the cost of commercial 3-D printers.

Yemen trip # 2

Four hours of nice sleep, I wake up with few big knocks on my room door,,, I freaked out and fell down the bed (I thought something has happened and we are needed to evacuate), Luckily that wasn’t the case, I answered the door and saw someone who gave me a ticket and told me that I need to get ready to go to Mukala... I was a bit pissed since I didn’t get lots of sleep and they didn’t inform about this earlier,,,, after few minutes I went down to the airport the city was empty and it was about six in the morning,,, Later after I reached the airport, and started my check in,, they told me that there is something wrong with my ticket and I needed to change my ticket!!! I was pissed off when they told me that,,, This is not the way the company is suppose to be running. After I changed my ticket, I checked in, few minutes later I am on the airplane going to Mukala.

An hour later I have reached Mukala where there was a driver waiting for me and then we went to Massila,,, which is about three hours drive through mountain terrain there were huge and steep, Some were like 60° where cars has a bit of hard time to get up...

When I have reached Massila and settled in the room that they gave me,,, I spent some time to look around and see if there were any person that I know so we can hang out… luckily my emeriti friend was there (IBY)... So we had some time to fool around and joke about every thing, We then managed to be friends with the people working there, where they invited us to their “PARTY” That night was hell of a fun… Other than that we were doing nothing, just surfing the net and shisha and Qat,,,

Few days of having fun both of us went to the rig and did some work, I have only spent three days on the rig and then back to Massila and spend nine days, and when I managed to contact my manager here in Yemen, I discovered that they have actually forgot that I was over there,,, Then they said that I need to go back and my services are no longer required...

Well I am happy about it getting some serious cash when all I did is sleep, eat & surfing the net...

The getting back, was a whole different story with its own mess ups and destiny’s way of saying that I need to suffer so I can enjoy that cash that I got,,, where hopefully I will take about it in the next topic...

Yemen Trip # 1

This is my second time here in Yemen!! Through it has been a year now since the first time but nothing has changed!! Things around might be a little bit messed up but it could is fun to see a neighboring country that we hear a lot on the news!!! Things might not be as worse as you guys expect over here. The people are wonderful and friendly, I tend to get special treatment once they know that I am Omani,,, LOL

I came here on Thursday (17th of May) I took the Qataria Airway! Where I would like to thank one of the flight attendant who helped me a lot at the airport since I forgot my passport at home & I was late!!! She delayed the closing time of the check in,,, If you read this blog I would like to say thank you a lot for helping me out,,, BTW I also want to know that “Damn you are hot!!!” to bad I didn’t get the time to get your name when I am back in Oman,,,
I went to Qatar and changed flights and came to Yemen!! The whole trip time for Oman to Yemen including the transit time was five hours,,, that was one tiring trip since I wake up early to organize my bags!!! “I know I am a last minute person”

Once the flight landed at Sanaa, I checked outside from the window and saw many worn-out airplanes!!! Truly I was a bit shaked since it was a bit of a scary seen seeing all these airplanes and thinking about Yemen airline which I will be boarding few days later to go to Muklla,,,

Any way I came down the airplane and went to the passport checking area!!! Which basically was a small room with few counters! I went to the first one who asked me few questions about why I am here in Yemen and how long I am going to stay! After he stamped my passport!! I went to the baggage claiming area which also was about the same size of the other room and there was a small rotary system for the bags!! I waited for half an hour before I got my bag!!
I then waked out to the exit! Where two cops with AK 47 (Klationkoif) guarding the exit of the airport to the parking area!! Wanted to take pictures of them but I was afraid that they might confiscate my camera!! I waited for another half an hour before my ride came to pick me up from the airport,,, where I was taken to the Staff house in Sanaa!! Which is about 20 mins drive from the airport going through sanaa!!! We past around few roundabouts which were totally mess!!! They have no respect for road signs!! Just come and go in,,, There were lots of run-down and old cars around!! LOL that sure was bringing history back to life!!! Most of the roundabouts you see there are cops with 47 (Klationkoif),,, I know DAMN!!!

After reaching the staff house I took a look at it!! It has about 3 meter wall & then there is about another 2 meter of metal sheet on top of that!!! Shit!!! I went in and they gave me a room on the second floor! I organized my stuff and then came down and had a nice meal and watched some T.V. till one at morning,,, I then went to sleep for some rest,,,

The environment we are in!!!

While I was surfing through the youtube I found this very interesting video,,, Where the 13 year old Severm Suzuki, plead for the future of her generation. To save the environment of the earth and help mankind to overcome their greed and selfish ambitions,,, She might be a 13 year old but I can say her words moved all. What she said is true we as in this generation don’t care about our children and what our actions in the current time to the environment & forests would react.

We have seen forests but our kids might not see it since we cut more of these woods to cover the agriculture needs of some certain third world country where other countries through the extra food they have into the ocean since they don’t want to share what they have with other countries. We as a human race currently don’t care about the forest that we cut or about the ocean which is filled with our biological, chemical and nuclear waste,,, These two main ecological factors of nature are the very reason we live in this earth, since forests supply the clean air we breath and the ocean supplies us with food and it helps to clean the air we breath…
I am an environmental person; I care about the environment and what is going around the earth through changes in the weather and the extension of beautiful animals... Never said this before but I think you people can guess it from the photo’s I take…

First Love

I really don’t know what reminded me of my first love, but I can know for a fact that your first love never works, for many reasons,,,

My first love was a disaster to my self but seeing things from a different prospective! I think it helped me to grow up to be the guy I am now! So I wonder should I thank her for breaking my heart and let me be the man that I am now! Or should I blame her!!!
For some reason she is still in my heart even after she broke it,,, I even remember how did I first fell in love with her,,,

It was nine years ago (I know I was young), It was love from first sight!! My heart just clicked when I saw her!! She was there with her black long hair and sweet brown eyes!! I just kept staring at her for hours!! We were practicing the Razha dance for my uncles wedding!! I went to her to talk and she talked in such a sweet way that I wanted her to be mine! I told my cuzns how I feel, LOL they told the whole world about it!!! Dump wits!!! Well when my father knew about it!! I got really nice beating for it!!!
Any way!!! I kept those feelings of mine in my heart loving her more & more in my dreams, going crazy about her more & more,,,
I used to see her in eid times! WOW she is more wonderful every time I see her! I would die for her if she just asked me too! Every thing I did then was for her! I studied for her! I was so loyal that I didn’t look at girls or talked to them a lot!!
Few years later when I finished college!! I was suppose to go to Qatar to work, I was afraid that if I went I would come back to see her taken by some one else!!
So using some common friends I found her number & told her my feelings!! I know I still don’t have a job, but since I might go to Qatar for work and I would like you to know my feelings about you before I leave!!
After that we started talking every day on the phone!! So we know each other better and see if we are good together,,,

And we were good together, we were perfect for each other,,, I fell for her my heart was pounding & dancing when ever I hear her voice in my ears!! We talked for hours every day!! After four months!! I got this job!! I went to Malaysia for 10 days,,, Then I came to Abu Dhabi to work!! We were still talking more than ever!! After one & half months of training on town I went to the rig for the first time in my life!! After a week in the rig! She stopped answering my phone calls & there were no replays from msgs & emails!! I got scared since I couldn’t imagine how would I live with out her,, What happened to her?? Is she alright?? I used my connection to ask about her!! She was fine!!! Nothing was wrong,,, She just didn’t want anything to do with me no more!! Just like that with out any reasons,,, She broke my heart that I would never thought would be broken since I have her!!!

My heart is broken, there was no way for it to be fixed, I couldn’t live, sleep, eat or do any think since I have lost my reason to live,,, how could she do that!! At least she should give me a reason for her doing that!! Is it me!!! I remember that day clearly! I walked from the rig to the camp late at night!! Walking left and right!! I felt like killing my self since I lost my reason to breathe this air!! As I reached the camp and looked at the mirror my eyes were red!! Yea I was crying from sorrow of losing some one I loved with all my heart for more than nine years!! I cleaned my face and went to bed!! I couldn’t sleep from thinking!!
It took me six months to try to get over her!! But still I don’t think that I will ever get over her,, some times my heart cries for that,,,

A month ago I heard that she is getting married and I was invited for her wedding which I never went since I don’t know how would I react being there,,, she was the love of my life!! My parents tried to force me go since she was family!! I remember my father saying that I should go to wedding so that people come to mine in the future!! I remember answering that I would rather die than go to her wedding!!!
Well I went to the club instead!!! Then two days later I canceled my holiday and went back to work to forget about her!!!

“L” If you ever read this!! I want you to know that you have broken my heart and my chest still hurts when ever I hear or remember your name!! Lately I have met fabulous girls who were amazing in every way!!!
You are no longer in my heart bitch,,, oh sorry I meant hoar,,, a bitch has way much manner & self respect than you,,, If you were ever remembered it would be in a pigs face when having sex,,, got that you good for nothing mother fucking piece of shit!!
I am the winner at the end!!! All the things that I have done in my life were for me not for you!! I might thought that I did it for you but I didn’t how would I do things for a hoar!! You know when I was at the club I prayed that you would have a miserable life and feel how you left me!!! At the end you lost a guy who loved you and respected you for ever!! I don’t think that you will ever reach a respect level of a pig you fucking hoar!!!

Ahhh this feels much better since I got it out of my chest!!!

Three days Then a Month

I am back in Oman now!!! been driving from AD till MCT,,, Here is a snap shot of the speed meter most of the time,,, I know I know, But I enjoyed it, who cares what do you think about it,,, I just checked how many offences I have and it turns out I have only four With the way I drive, Damn thats an improvement from ROP (Royal Oman Police),,, I applaud them,,,

Any way I only in Muscat only for three days and then I am on my way to Yemen for a month,,, Unfortunately the three days are over and I am leaving to Yemen after two hours,,,

I have enjoyed the few hours that I have stayed here at home!! managed to do most of the things I wanted to do,,, expect Scuba Diving!! which was canceled due to the Tsunami incident!! I swear any similar incidents in the future and I am going to make a living hell out of the person started that stupid rumor that most of the people believed in,,, Stupid Stupid Stupid,,,

I have been in Yemen before and I enjoyed it,,, "QAT" LOL I am sure this time it is gona be as fun as before!!! lets hope I can find an internet connection there, so I could update you guys on whts going on with me there,,,

A funny thing happened in Dubai for the weekend!!! the story goes like this,,,

I went out with a friend of mine, who recently got a new brother,,, So I picked her up from her place and decided to go walking!!! and the conversation went like this!!!

Me: Salam 3aleekm, How you doing?
Z : I am fine and every thing is good how are you and work?
Me: Work is good and every thing is at it is, with me fooling around!!
Z : LOL, please dont make fun at me, BTW wana see my bra??
I hit the breaks as hard as I could and kept staring at her,,,
Me: Yea who the hell would have to say NO to that, no need to go out lets go to ur place and have fun,,,
Z: Opps sorry sorry sorry I meant my bro as in my brother!!!
Me: I know wht u r thinking so don’t worry no need to hide any thing from me,,,
Z: No stupid I meant my bro, here,,,

Sound System

Ever since I have got my car, I started to design my dream sound system,,,
After I have found the perfect design for my sound system I started to work on it!!!

The first thig I have done is change the door speakers,,, Now each door has about 250 W Alpine speakers,,, Connect to an Alpine Amplifiers

Since I love to have some Bass I had installed three 800 W Subwoofers!!! The first one I just made a hole on the back dash and stick it there,,,
Three weeks later while I was examinning my boot!!! an idea hit me ,,, There were some hollow space at the side of the boot!!!

I thought there is enough space here to have a subwoofers,,, So I started modeling how can I have a subwoofer there with out lossing the space since I need it to put my camping or scuba diving kits there,,, After long thought I built a nice box using fiber glass!!! It took me three days to do it,,, Here how it looks right now!!! BTW this is from both sides,,,

There are three things left for me to do and this sound system will be the dream of every music lover & car freaks,,,

First, I will add two twitters behind the back seat!!! I am currently modeling a small boxes which are also gona be made with fiber glass,,,

Second, Since the factory head unit is combained with the A/C unit!!! I cant do any modifications for it with out damaging the A/C!!! So after a long search for the solution to help me over come this issue!! I found an AV PANEL SET which will help me to disconnect the A/C unit from the factory head unit!!! I have ordered the panel set and hopefully it will reach me after three weeks,,, Then I am going to install a pioneer avic-z1,,, which is a touch screen computer modified for a car!!! which basicly has every thing from navigation to entertainment system!! I will also install a rear camera So if you are driving behind me!!! you never know!!! I might be watching you!!!

and last but not least!!! I am going to connect the car computer to the computer that I am going to install so that I can view more statistic data about my driving and show me in a graphic style with more data for me to analyze on the way I drive,,,

Hopefully I will be able to complete this after a month's time,,, I will keep you updated as soon as I finish with it

Back for Work!!!

I am back in Oman for a week or two,,, but unlucky for me I came here for work!!! so no scuba diving!!!

Tomorow morning I will be going to a rig near Hema which is about 600 KM from muscat!!!

There will be no internet & no phone signal!!!

Therefore there is no way for me to update the blog for the coming 5 - 10 days!!!

I am back in town, Currently working for my promotion,,, So I have been bzy alot these days running all over the place to get some paper work done,,, and have been working from 7 am till 9 pm at the office I think I am gona turn into a nerd soon

Two days ago my laptop crashed again, but this time it seems for good!! so I am might get a new laptop, If that laptop is not revivable...

While in the office I have noticed this,,,

A prank!!!

I cam back from the rig a bit tired & a bit moody,,,
Then I saw this car parked too close to the chains, Then This nice funny idea of a prank clicked in my mind!!!

I looked around left & right to see that no one is around to see what I am about to do,,,
I went to the car and hooked the chain to car hook!!!

I then went to take a shower & have dinner,,, actully I was waiting for the car owner to come and see him drive away!!! but that dream didnt come true!! After few hours of waiting I got bored so I went to sleep!!
The next day I woke up, and went to check the car!! which wasn’t there,,, I then went to the cones to see if it has been moved or not!!!
I read the tracks on the sand that all the chains & cones were dragged few meters (about 4m) from their original location...

A new colleague

Yesterday while I was working, I noticed something moving!! I looked at it,,,

It was a mouse, a cute lil brown mouse running around the unit!!! It made me smile, at least it took some stress away from me!!!
Later my manager called to ask me some stuff, and I decided to make it a joke,,,

Me: hay boss, whn did you send this new guy to us???
Manager: Wht guy??
Me: The guy,,, He is a laugh to us!! he runs around like there is no tomorrow!!
Manager: I didnt send any one to you???
Me: I assure you that he is here with me in the unit still running around!!!
Manager: whts his name??
Me: Mouse!!!
Manager: ha????????
Me: There is a mouse here running around like there is no tomorrow, I thought you told him to come and learn some LWD stuff,,,,
Manager: a mouse....... HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, god help me with you!!!
Me: wht I didnt do ny thing I just told you the facts!!!
Manager: oky oky make sure you teach him well!!!
Me: No worries, I am going to make him the best in the business!!!

Now I am in a rig at the middle of the dessert!! we had a bad sand storm for two days! and every part of me is full of sand!!!

Then heavy rains followed!!! To bad that I didnt enjoy it, since I was working... but at least it settled the dust!!! Oh well they predict that the weather will be rainy tomorow too, so lets hope that I am not working at that time!!!

I called Oman and they told me how it is over! I was like why the hell I am here working,,, I should be in Oman swimming in the wadi and enjoying the rain ,,,

Some friends of mine have asked me about the rig & hows the life over there, since we work for weeks over there with out coming back to town,,, So I have taken the following Video's & pictures to show it to you,,,
well first I need to tell you that what are you going to see might be shocking to some of you people, and you might pass out or shit in ur chair,,,

but, lucky for you that I dont care a shit ,,,

First of all here is a video about our living area!!! oh yea for your info the place that I took these were one of the good camps around!!!

As I said this is a middle class camp,,, When ever I get the chance to live on a shit camp I will make another video,,, oh yea the camp I was in when I got sick as a shit place,,,

Winter time the temperate goes down to 5 degree (freezing cold), and it can go up to 55 degree in summer (raging hot)...

My personal thoughts about this type of job,,, I really love my work and enjoying it a lot!! I traveled a lot and worked in rigs at, Yemen, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE,,, Worked at the raging sea, middle of the dessert & on top of the mountains,,,

Food poisoning

After a long lasting holiday, I came back to work all exited that I am going to get my promotion soon..

so the story goes like this,,,

I went the rig,,,

where my permotion was calling me (I was waiting for 5 months for such job)

as soon as reached there, I thought a small meal would be good before I start working,so I had some Salad!!

after two hours my stomach started feeling weird, so I went to the toilet!!! and guess wht I spent the whole night and half day in there!!!

so I came back to town and needed to stop few times!!!I reached town and went to the hospital and they told me that I had food poisoning!!!

so I lost my chance for a promotion which is very important to me right now!!!!

and I waisted two days being sick!!! doing nothing!!!

and the worst thing ever is that I have no one here to take care of me!!!!

I know so currently I am sitting in a flat in AD (Abu Dhabi) watching TV and playing Play Station,,,
I lost my appetite for food which is a first in my life,,,

Oh well life isn’t that fair to the people who love it,,,

Yesterday I got a call that today I am going to "Jebel Akhdar" for a quick instructions on how to properly drive a 4X4 when going up & down of steep mountains!!!

First of all to all of you people who don’t know about "Jebel Akhdar" here is a quick info about it::: -

Jabel Akhdar(meaning The Green Mountain) is a mountain range in Oman, extending about 300 km northwest to southeast, between 50-100 km inland from the Gulf of Oman coast. The highest point is around 3,000 meters (around 9,800 feet) high. It is the highest point in Oman and the whole of eastern Arabia. It comprises the central section of the Jebel Hajar range, and is located around 150 km from Muscat.

While over there I have taken some pictures for the sake of you blogger's who are interested in Oman...

when I said this to one of my friends they asked "Why what does it smell like?"

I replayed "We have lots of rose's & Daffodil & Jasmine at our house!!! so at winter time you smell a mix of these flowers at the house!!! it makes me feel relaxed and feel good!!!

I have joined a tourist company to help them around in this busy time of year... So I am getting to do free camping and mountain climbing,,, The whole camping trip is going to be from the 15th of January till 10th of February!!!

Due to my work,,, I have been traveling allot around the gulf and usually go to UK or east Asia!!!
Before the flight I usually check the plane and walk around Sometimes I manage to find my self a seat at the first class if it is not a full flight!!

While traveling around the gulf I usually take gulf Air!!! and lately I have seen annoying sights which makes me feel insecure being in this plane!!!

Duct Tape every where!!! are we really safe traveling?? I mean people are afraid of terrorist these days!!! Shouldn’t we be afraid of the people maintaining the plane!!

Hike through the wilds

At last I have some free time now to give you guys a proper update!!! Seems things in my life keeps pilling up and not enough time to recall wht I have done during my holiday!!!
One of these extreme experiences that I have faced is the hike through the wadi of Mohoot (which is located between the mountains of Rustaq & Nizwa)... There have been many errors and faults due to experimental errors!!! I have been doing some experiments so science can prevail!!!

Day: Friday 3rd of November 2006
Location: Wadi mo7ot (known as Snake Gorge)

We rented two Land cursers and the guys rendezvoused at my house!!! After all the guys came.. we hit the road to Rustaq and then took an off road between the mountains!!! where there were some water pounds where I bashed into with the car!!!

My brother broke his back!!! due to wrong landing!!! but thanx god he didn’t feel it at the same time!!! it would be sooo not fun to carry him for 5 hours to get to the other side since it is a one way and there is no way to go back the same track after some point!!! the next day he have been put into a cast which was on him for 8 weeks!!! (shit imagin 8 weeks with no shower!!! shit) I sure was with him and I don’t want to experience it again!!! LOL oh yea the funny part is he got his second nick name from it ROBOCOP.

Through the hike we faced many obstacles that forced us to jump & slide & climb & swim through caves,,, at the middle of the hike rain started to fall!!! we increased our speed since we didn't want to be over run by a flush wadi!!! (that would be bad)

At one point of the hike we needed to slide at a natural slide,,, The following video was taken...

yea!! that was me!! I got stuck between the two rocks and damn it hurts...

Oh yea do u guys remember whn I told you about the red bull experiment!!! on about how much a person can drink per day!!! well on this day I drank about 15 red bulls and I also to this picture as a commercial for red bull!!!

A New Year & a Rose!!!

A new year has come,,, and the previous year just went with its ups & downs,,, Happy & Sad moments has passed by us along the roots of 2006...

At the beginning of each year! I set my self some goals to accomplish in the new coming year!! and at the end of each year I review my self on where I have become on accomplishing these goals!! At the beginning of 2006 I have set my self on doing many things... I see my self that I have managed to achieve most of my goals for the past year... The most important goal was to clear my heart from affections that were long lost... By doing so I have found my self a passion for a Rose that has grown in my heart!!! I believe that with out that Rose I would be someone else (or should I say something)...
Words of thanx & love can not express my feelings for that rose but I will simply give her my life & soul if she asked so,,, (The rose is dadicated to you my rose)

Hopefully I will be able to accomplish all of this years goals along with the delayed ones!!!

Yea I am back in town!!!

I was in Saudi Arabia for three weeks and was sent to an offshore rig (in the middle of the sea)... where Most of the sites, forums and blogs were block!!! Don’t ask me why I have no idea!! Well many things happed over there...

The weather was soooo cold!! it was 3 degree C and it was raining real bad!! I was working for two days under the rain!! it felt good yet I was freezing!!!

Currently I am back in Abu Dhabi but I will be going to a land rig today!!! Hopefully I have some time to write a proper topic when I am there!!!

The absents of Mind

When the mind just reaches to the stage that it doesn’t care any more and it goes to dormant... Things that you think you wouldn't do and all of sudden you got this urge to do it... In this certain day just to satisfy this urge!! I have jumped an 8 meter cliff & set my self on fire and then I ended up drinking a sleeping pill with red bull!!! (That was really some nice shit)...

By the time of darkness! We had lots of jumps and laughs, the only injury was to my brother's balls due to a wrong jump (believe me that was fun to watch)...

I have decided to make an act of stupidity of my own!!! so with a lil Lighter & petrol I have managed to make that come true!!!

I set fire on my self!!! yea it is not a miss type I actually set fire on my self and ran around the beach and then jumped to the water!!! after a couple more time of keeping setting my self on fire!!! I decided to take it one more step,,, and ran the opposite way and went back to the water!!! But this one didnt turn out to be good at all,,, and ended up burning my hand... It burnt & it hurts!!!
I went to the pharmacy in CCC and bought a cream, and then I went to the doctor to check it out!! I ended up getting two shot!!! OUTCH...

Well after these I forget to track it down!!! After few days I got some bubbles that were blown by me ... and the two middle finger's turned brown,, It took about 5 weeks for my fingers to go back as it used to be,,,

Well since I was in loads of pain the doctor gave me some sleeping pills to have,,, So before I went to sleep I decided to take them, but I wasnt in a mood for water so I took them with red bull ... It took me like three hours before I went to sleep but during this time I was high like a bird...

The conclusion of my holiday & blessings of the rain

My holiday has come to an end, where many conclusions been observed, some where happy some are sad and some were painful (not for me - my brothers tested the pain )...

I know I have been promising you lots of details about my trips and adventures during this holiday and hopefully no I will find more time for you guys & girls ...

For some reason I have been thinking a lot about my holiday and how much did I enjoy it... and in particular I have been thinking of writing a report about the experiments that I have been conducting...... Well I cant say the methods of the experiments that helped me reach these conclusions since I will be breach the ethics of the research ...

During my research period which lasted about seven weeks I have concluded the following:-

1- Holding some one upside down for a period of 10 mins might give him some sort of dizziness due to the rush of blood to his head as soon as he stands up.

2- Jumping over an eight meter cliff with your legs open might cause a serious injury to ur balls (LOL that sure was a fun experiment on my bro) .

3- The fire stunts on TV are not real and if you try to comply to them you might burn your self (ouch my fingers) .

4- Drinking tooo many red bulls in one day might cause ur ears to hear ur heart beats (cool ha).

5- Eating an Omani 7alwa & drinking dew might cause bad stomach ach and cause you to through up.

6- If not reading the expiry date on a packet might cause you to loss interest in food for a while.

7- Driving over 220 km/h for some time might allow you to feel that the world is moving slowly.

8- Screeming "telling them to hurry up" in a buplic toilet when some body inside might give them a bad day and cause them to wet them selves. (oh and you might do a nice running after that - which is good for ur diet )

9- Smiling for a policeman while he is working might give you a ticket.

Oky just a quick post!!!!

I forget to mention it on the previous post!!!!

All you people who spent the first day of eid at al-hail, Did any body noticed the think smoke, at about 12:00???

Well I decided do go and check it out,,, and there was this building on fire!!! The strange thing is there were no police around, and it seems that the fire is been on for some time,,,

The funny part is,,, at the high way there was a pile up,,, LOL,,, stupid drivers,,,

after observing things, I was wondering are we safe in case a fire pops out in a mall or some where crowded!!! All I got to say is that may the gods be with us by that time!!!

Oh yea, do any one know wht went on over there, I didnt ask about it!!! so If any one has an Idea on wht went on, inform me plz...

Eid & the days after that

WOW ,,, long time I didnt update,,, I just had amazing time and I was never free to wonder around the net ,,, I have so many things to blog about,,, my scuba diving trips & camping trips,,,

I have managed to burn, cut & injure my self!! I have been jumping 8 & 10 meters cliffs some near the sea and some in between the mountains!! went through one way wadies while it was rain (this was really stupid)!!! yea whn I go back to work I cant say that I didnt enjoy my holiday,,, Hopefully all these incidents will be reported & blogged about here in the coming weeks...

ny wy,,, eid has come and go with out ny incidents from my side thanx god ... There was only one incident where I wake up on 2nd day of eid with a call at 6 in the morning asking my if I would like to go to Rustaq to eat Mishkak (barbeque meet the Omani style)... and who would miss such a chance ... so the following two hours I drove till Rustaq and ate meat for breakfast!! I learnt new way to eat barbeque and that is with honey... and it was tasty!!!

Well I still have another week left in my holiday, I just thought of having a quick update over here... More updates are on the way

Back in Oman

Yea I am back in Oman,,, I have been away for few days but lots of things happened!!!

I will start from the day i left you guys!!!

Three days on the Rig

Yea I went only three days to this amazing rig in a place called "Qusahwirah" which is a natural resort for Gazal... The rig was about four hours drive from Abu Dhabi and about an hour Off road drive... at the dessert there were some amazing views!!! first the camel farm & the second is the Gazal area, It was pretty amazing the three days there,,,

The last day I decided to go ask for some camel milk... yea milk fresh out of the camel. I managed to get four bottles of it but only two ended up with me and I had them for iftar...

My Boss kicked me out of work

He called me and told me to come back to town, the next day he said "Wht the hell are you doing here go back to Oman have your holiday!! I dont want to see you for the next six weeks - why the hell have you been working on the rigs 14 weeks continues"
I was like "Wht didnt notice - I was enjoying my time on the rigs,,, but 6 weeks holiday yea thats wht I am talking about" ... So he called the secretary and told him to book for me the first flight to Oman,,, so thats how I am here!!!

Now,,, I am in Oman so things are going to change around here... be ready to party

Back to Civilization

At last I am back to civilization...

yea I am back in town now for few days, and I have fixed my laptop, it turns out my hard disk was fried ... oh well at least it was replaced with a bigger one you are not going to see me complaining about that...
I have been spoiling my self in the past few days eating good food (expensive), going to the movies, updated my entertainment system & got my self new phones since the old once got damaged!!!

Ramadan so far is going good as long as I walk with my eyes looking at the ground!!! I wonder Y do girls were mini skirts & tight shirts or walking with their belly shown to the world, Come on girls at least give some break to us guys even for a month!! it seems it is the opposite and that we should get hornier in this month,,, I really find it hard to go to the office in the morning or to the malls at night! I mean every where I look I see tight dresses and mini skirts,,, give me a break plz...

I really dont mind after Ramadan ... just kidding

Other than that, the weather is amazing these days I walked by the Kornish yesterday for hours I forgot every thing, I just wish you were with me - I MISS YOU ...

I am going to the rig today, It is a land rig this time, but I am going to be there only for 10 days Max and then I am back to Oman for my long awaited holiday with lots of plans to execute...

Hopefully I will have an internet connection over there within two three days!!!

Can’t believe that this day has finally come

Spending an entire month in this rig was the most difficult task that I had to face

The work was so intense, I could barely walk

The air was so thick, I could barely breathe

and the temperature fluctuated widely

Sometimes freezing cold and others raging hot

Every day presented its own hardship, A new obstacle to be matter to over come...

Off course some days were harder than others

Just when I have given up all hope

When I was sure that I wouldn’t last another moment in that of all places,

...I saw her...

Her smile washed away all the stress

Her beauty surpassed the hardships surrounds me

With her around I am sure I would be able to surpass all limits

I know I can, for her I will

Today I have completed 30 days in this rig and I still 18 days to go ,,, I usually don’t count the days that I spend on the rig site but knowing that I have a nice holiday after 18 days makes me want time to fly fast just to go back to Oman and have more interesting things to do & to blog about, being in the same place wouldn’t have many interesting things going on, I know that for sure,,,
Well few days with out ur own laptop to play with is sure no fun, I cant sign in to my messenger & I cant go and comment on others blogs, I have seen interesting stuff around that I want to put some thoughts about in my own way,,,

I have been three months away from Oman now, and I really miss every body there & my car in particular…

Hope things go well in the next few days, I might get a chance to go back to town for a day and then get back to work,,,

Whn Things Crash

Seems like my luck is running away from me AGAIN,,, First of all they changed the crew that I work with to Egyptians,, which are full of them selves,,, & one of them is a new guy & I need to train him for the job and he is also full of his shit,,, he even dares and tell me wht to do (fuck since whn do the trainee tells his trainer wht to do!) - I hope that all noooooh, he started giving me fucking lectures on timing & that we should do this instead of that...etc.

Fucking nut heads,,, Egyptians(90% of you guys)

Then after all that my laptop crashed & there is no way I can get it fixed untill I get back to town...

With all this pressure & shit,,, I fought with my crew today & gave them a piece of my mind ... With that they started to behave themselves & see things my way ,,, but I still dont trust these two face fucking Egyptians... I will record wht thy talk about whn I am not in my shift and see wht their thoughts say about me ...

Might not be able to be around for the next few days, but I will keep you updated...

Morning ppl

Good news to all you guys, I have added a music box over here so u guys can listen to music ny time u are here, I am trying to customize a play list for future upgrade...

Well nothing new has been going on with me lately,,, Other than that I have been in this Offshore rig for three weeks now and I am going to go crazy, I still have another four weeks to go till my holiday starts and I am going to get five weeks of beach & party time If any of you girls care to join me you are more than welcome (you know where to find me)...

I have been thinking of traveling to some place in this wide world, I want some one who is crazy enough to join me since two are better than one and it is more fun.
Not sure so far where to go but I might go to an island in Malaysia and spend a week of scuba diving and beach parties...

I will see how things goes, as I still have 4 weeks of work left...

I Miss Scuba Diving

In my holidays, I spent hours by the beach swimming, snorkeling or scuba diving. These are some photos that I have taken the last time I was in Oman. I added them for you to enjoy what I enjoy doing.

I have been working now for months with out taking some time off to go scuba diving. I really miss the cold water and the fishes swimming next to me.
My next holiday is at the end of Ramadan, and I am sure I am going to camp next to the beach no matter how cold the weather is (luckily I have a wet suit for cold water). Just can’t wait till I am back to Oman to Scuba Dive again.

Since a week now I have been working at an offshore rig... so I dont have lots of things to blog about, other than the satellite was down and it took me two days just to put it back online.

Things are a bit boring here; I was playing WarCraft 3 most of the day's I was here.

I decided not to shave my beard I want to see where it will reach when I finish from here :) cant imagine my self with a beard this the first time for me not to shave it into one of the styles that I usually form it into...

Irwin, 44 was killed by a stingray barb that went through his chest, according to Cairns police sources. Irwin was filming an underwater documentary at the time...

What a great loss to animal society, we have lost a great guy, I loved his documentaries and I stop working and go watch it...

Well but it is good that he died doing something that he love...

Oh well now we need to find another interesting guy to do the animal documentaries,,, or else I am going to miss these shows

well I noticed this issue some time ago, but I thought it happened just because I was there but few days back I noticed that it is happening no matter where I am,,,

whn ever I go out with guys these days every one & each of them show's off that he is talking to a girl and brags about wht he have done with her, I wish if it stops at this point. Some of them talk about every little thing he have done to her! (e.g. I gave her a kiss at this area, or I have slept with her)... I thought relationship details shouldn’t be announced to public, and it should be between the couple.

I am sure that guys who read this, might say that I am gay for saying this but I am not I just have more respect for the girl I go out with, It is just the girl trusted you and went out with you, how do you betray this trust!!!

Is this how guys treat girls these days!!! I feel so sorry for the girl’s who go out with these losers...

I would really be interested in what you girls think whn you know about this???

yea I am back to the city,,, at last

After spending three weeks at the rig this started to get a bit hellish...
First thing I did is went to the barber who was pretty shocked whn he saw me (you must look at his face whn he recognized me) LOL,

well after i got my hair cut & my beard shaved. I thought of having nice lunch it, I was thinking about it for an hour on which restaurant I should go and have foood, then I decided to go and have Japanese food - I had some sushi & tempura’s :) .
Then I went to the gym did some sports - slept at the jakosy & sauna lol, the supervisor’s there thought I died...

well I had a nice day on Wednesday, I even managed to go back to Oman for the weekend, where I went to Bander Jisa to have my dinner on Thursday, and I was invited for lunch on Friday..

well now I am ready to go back and spend another few weeks on the rig,,, (My boss will be happy to hear this).

How messed up could it be!!!

To begin with,,,
today was no different than other days,,, wake up take a shower go to the rig site and start work, finish my shift and go to sleep and then it starts all over...

but today something interesting happened that proves things can get interesting that this routine thing I am doing... :)

By the end of my shift I went to talk to the client to talk to him and he asked me "Where the hell were you a fire went on!!!" I was like "WHAT!!! I didnt hear the alarm"...

Client: "aaaah... it didnt work" me: "Then how suppose I should know there is a fire whn no alarm goes out"
Then I went to talk to one of the rig crew to exactly know wht happened...

A fire went out, they sounded the alarm but it didnt work. They took the fire hoses to put the fire out and there was no water. They tried using a foam to put it out and the electricity for the pumps went short...
but at the end they managed to take it out since it wasnt that big to begin with,,, but still all these faults happened whn a small fire went out... how would it whn the real thing happens, It made me think that things could be messy...

Well thanx god no body was injured or killed "damn it"

I think this the world best invention really :) ,, I am currently working at the desert and the food over here sucks to the point that u feel like puking if u look at it, So I needed to find another source of food to fill my growling stomach, and someone suggested to me “Instant Noodles”.
and guess wht you don’t need to be an expert cook to prepare it...

Yesterday I was talking to one of colleagues about different topics and discussions that I think most of the ppl didn’t realize that it does exist...
and since there were so many topics that aren't retaliated to each other, I am going to post each topic in a different post... I would really like to see ppl commenting on these few next topics since I want to grasp what do you ppl think about them...

Oky I believe that each person is set up to do a certain job in his/her life and they will be good at it naturally,,, and that not any person can do that job for many reasons either it is not in his nature or it might be to tough for him/her or his mentality cant absorber such work. well these are the main reasons.

My self I am a petroleum engineer and I know for sure not ever person can be one, since it is a hard job since it has loads of physical & mental stress (e.g. Sleepless nights due to problems, on call 24/7, no social life ...etc). Well I think not all ppl can take this type of work, I have seen ppl who quit this job after few months since they couldn’t handle the stress.
I also know that my nature does not allow me to do other job like a teacher (I hate kids), Programmer (sitting on the computer all day \Boring/), Doctor (I'm a super pervert)...etc - I know for sure these wont satisfy me as in my career wise too, nor doing it for the rest of my life.

I remember spending few months before I find out which type of work I am suited at! well I think it all depends on what your hobbies are and what do you expect out of your career... and I think which is most important - where do you think this career path is going to take you in the future as in the next 5-10 years of your life.
Well I can see where I am going to be in the next 5 years :)
I think when it comes to think what type of career path a person should choose every thing comes to account and you shouldn’t miss the slightest detail:-
- Personality
- Hobbies
- Where do you see you’re self in the near future
- Family
- Education
- ... etc (I could go none stop about it)

Well it is not my place to judge ppl wht type of work you are best suited at, but it would be a good idea to think on what are you willing to spend the rest of you life doing!!! If you don’t like it then you are going to suffer (and fucking whine about it all day - which annoys me).

I really advice you my friends to really give a good thought about it and not rush to first job opportunity you get and then you regret about it.

Life is short - it would be a good idea to enjoy every moment of it wither you are at work or holiday... :)

Remnants of the past

Today is one of these days...

Where I wake up this morning and wander wht I have done in my life? Or wither that did I improve my self from being that lil cry baby few years back.
I do love these days. It allows me to measure my self now to the past me!!! I know wht you ppl thinking about (wht the fuck is this guy talking about!!!) yea thats wht some of my friends tell me whn I accidentally speak whts on my mind with out realizing that some one is next to me.

Well with out revealing alot about my self I think I have done well compared to the ppl of my age did in Oman. This is from the prospective of my social life. :)

As in my personality... I think I have improved my self to the point where I am happy about my self... well three years back I didn’t even know my self and my self confident was not that assuring either.
Now I exactly know my self and what my limits are,,, :)

Well my advice to you ppl...
Know your selves and find out your limits before planning or dreaming because you might find out that your dreams are too far from reality.
Be in the reality world not the dream world.
I had to learn that the hard way,,, (but thanx god I was able to get on my feet’s fast thanx to someone).
This is the fine judgment that I bestow upon you today...

Know you’re self and your limits. By knowing that you would be able to see the unseen able...

Day 3 as a blogger :)

I Think I started to see what is Blog... well It might be true to me but not to the others! Since every one has his/her own way of explaining stuff & things which makes this world so beautiful...

But it is too early to let you guys find out about the secret of blogging that I think is true...

I have seen so many blogs in the past few days to decide for a meaning of blogging well at least I am having fun going into one blog to the other. I kinda imagine it like going into one person's mind & reading his thoughts and then go to the next person mind. Well peeping into ppls mind seems loads of fun (Kinda feel my self like a pervert). But Y do ppl write their thoughts on-line so other ppl can comment on them.

Feels Kinda sad not to talk these problems with some one else in the real life and hear their comments in reality.

Well it is not my place to judge ppl wither they should do it or not. As long as you are happy I am happy about it :)

The war that is so called against terrorist

I wake up every day wandering what movie should I watch & what type of food will I have for my meals today,,,
Today was no different! I went and asked the cook to cook for me some breakfast. When the food came I decided to have it while watching T.V.. I switched on the T.V. and tuned to Al-Jazeera chaneel (though I am not a politic fan or do I care what’s going on in this crazy world as long as it doesn’t involve me or my loved ones). What I saw was dreadful and is more like a savage mass slaughter of people. Do you really believe it! Kids are the main victim over here.

Looking back at my childhood all I remember was happy moments I never saw blood or members of my family killed in front of my eyes. The days where I call my self sad were actually just being a lil bitch asking what I want and expect to get it the next moment. If a child from Lebanon knew of my childhood it will be heaven for him compared to what they are suffering from right now!! I feel ashamed of what is going on and not doing any thing about it.

These are one of the Images that moved me a lot. A building where more than 30 children & few women ran to hide from the attacks of the war! The whole building was blown to pieces and all that is left is the remnants of the children who lost their sweet childhood in this meaningless war.

Who ever is reading this Blog I wander how was your childhood like was it any where near this???I don’t think so...

Blogging!!!

Well I start this blog to find out exactly wht is blogging suppose to mean,,,What is blogging and wht it is suppose to be & do!!! well no body knows,,, every blog that I have been to to find out what is exactly a person suppose to do in a blog isnt defend by a certain meaning. Every body is using it as he/she sees fit!!! Some ppl use it as a public diary and other ppl mumble things on only god knows wht they are talking about!!! (no worries ppl I my self mumble stuff that I my self dont know what am I talking about).

Let’s hope my blog contributes something to the ppl who spends days & night's in front of the lil screen and get them to start living like normal ppl do... (Go out and check out the world).
